This series, broken into six sets, can be used in its entirety or as separate mini-courses. It is a study in biblical principles which will help you understand why the world is the way it is and what God's people can do about it, including working for both public justice and personal righteousness.

This is a "how-to" for community transformation of political, economic and values-determining systems.  

It also offers practical strategies and methodologies of broad-based organizing so today's communities can realize God's purposes for humanity which Jesus called, "The Kingdom of God," or as it is called in Hebrew, "The Shalom Community."

Set 1: The World as God Intended - $45
What are God's intentions for our world? Over the centuries, the church has had many answers to that question. But why not let the Bible speak for itself? Dr. Linthicum reflects on God's comprehensive vision of the world God and what keeps that vision from being realized. 5 sessions

Set 3: Building a Church of Power - $75
This set examines the Bible's mission call to God's people, biblical instructions as to how that call is to be lived out by the church in everyday life, and how God's people are to build and use relational power as God's specific means to carry out that mission. 6 sessions

Set 4: Building Relational Power in Your Community - $55
Dr. Linthicum is joined by Marilyn Stranske (Christians Supporting Community Organizing) and Mike Miller (ORGANIZE Training Center) to teach concrete strategies the church can use for initiating community change. Learn to turn your community upside down! 4 sessions

Set 5: Using Your Power to Turn Your City Upside Down - $65
Strategies and tactics of relational power that you can use to impact your city - methodologies used by Paul the Apostle, Jesus and Moses that made Christianity a lively option in the Roman Empire and led to Israel's liberation from Egyptian slavery. A dynamic role play in which God's people successfully hold a slum landlord accountable. 5 sessions

Set 6: How to Develop Powerful Leaders & Build Values - $45
A community will not be transformed solely by converting people, bringing about social change and working for justice. To bring about substantive change, the church must also form strong community and church leaders and motivate the community to build a new set of values for itself. Dr. Linthicum and Marilyn Stranske teach how to accomplish these difficult tasks, as well as explore the spirituality of relational power!
